Teacher of Boys' PE

The Trent Academies Group is an emerging multi-academy trust, based in Nottingham. Our aim is to support schools and academies in providing outstanding education for their pupils. The Trust currently consists of Rushcliffe School, an outstanding school in West Bridgford and The Farnborough Academy, Clifton and the Arnold Hill Academy, Arnold. In our Group we work together, share staff, join up expertise, build on each other’s strengths, pool resources and combine facilities, so that everybody, staff and pupils, gets the chance to shine and achieve their best.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Boys’ PE to work at The Farnborough Academy who will work within a supportive department. As a key member of the team, you will be expected to teach across KS3 and KS4. You must have a passion for learning and teaching PE together with the skills to inspire and motivate our students. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about PE, be innovative in the classroom and have a passion for developing exciting and engaging learning experiences for our pupils/

It is intended that the role would be based at Farnborough Academy but the diversity of academies within the Group will provide fantastic opportunities for teachers to develop their practice and skills. You will be provided with regular opportunities to work in partnership with other subject leaders and senior leaders to develop your own practice and skills.
